Meanwhile, at Web Summit in Lisbon, Tezos Co-Founder Kathleen Breitman had a conversation with Decrypt’s Stephen Graves onstage on how the Tezos blockchain has implemented a proof-of-stake mechanism since its inception, as well as her admiration for Tendermint, Ethereum, and sharding, progressive decentralization, and NFT gaming.
Also at 0xpo Summit in San Francisco on November 3, Clay Robbins of Slow Ventures, Soona Amhaz of Volt Capital, Sarah Guo of Conviction and formerly Greylock, and Alex Strzesniewski of AngelBlock joined Decrypt’s Jason Nelson for an extensive panel on raising venture money even during Crypto Winter.
Finally, the inaugural Crypties Awards from Decrypt Studios in Miami on November 30 saw Illa Da Producer accept the Cryptie on behalf of Yuga Labs from presenter Alanna Roazzi-Laforet for Bored Ape Yacht Club winning NFT Project of the Year. Other awards included Best Crypto Artist, Best Crypto Game, Best Crypto Exchange and Crypto Influencer of the Year. It was a great event that celebrated the fantastic achievements of the crypto space and the incredible people behind them.
